What is the best made and most realistic Glock type Airsoft pistol out there? My friends and I want to do some force on force training stuff and want realistic stand ins for our Glocks (17,19) Gas blow back? Huh? I know next to nothing about this stuff!

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. Anyone have any pics of their Airsoft Glocks? :)

I have the KWA G18C. Aluminum slide and barrel, blowback type, uses green gas. Very realistic except for its bright red nose.

+1 on the kwa 18c, it can take red gas as well. Just remember, if you shoot yourself to see how much it's got... don't forget to take it off auto.

kwa is the cheaper sister company of ksc they make a quality piece don't get me wrong.. but ksc has all of the trade marks you find on your glock. both companies have metal and plastic slide versions. for the money I would go with a ksc/kwa. I think tm makes an electric g18 now.. don't know how long the battery lasts on those things but gas can get pretty pricey if you shoot the thing a lot. still.. the blowback and report you get from a gbb makes up for that imho. the electric guns sound like your walking on a path paved with cats..

Airsoft pistols and rifles are a waste of time. Why would you want a gun that shoots lame little plastic balls?

Isn't it possible to use propane instead of expensive gas? [IMG]

you can use propane with an adapter but you'd have to put lube in the magazine manually. Green gas and red gas have it mixed in the can. This preserves the seals in the magazine.

Propane voids your warranty. Green gas has silicone lubricant in it which the seals in the mag and gun need. Propane used for burning may also have impurities you do not want in your gun but causes no problems in your barbecue.

they got you the answer before I could chute. cept 134a doesn't silicone spray in it and green gas does (thats why the green gas stinks more). all o rings on the magazines will eventually wear out reguardless.. but using propane or butane will only speed up that proces.
