Just bought a baby glock and will be picking up some 17 round magazines. I'm looking at the grip extensions that you slip over the mag to give a full sized grip and wondering what would fit/work best. It's a Gen4 G26 if that matters.

Input is appreciated.

For me its the Pearce+3. I have them on all my G26 mags except 1 that I keep in my pocket as a spare.

That won't do anything for his G17 mags.

I'm not sure if it will fit the Gen 4, but this is what I use for my G27 with G22 mags. You might want to look into a G19 mag with a spacer for concealed carry. It is absolutely the best feel of all my G27 setups which include, a Pearce +1 on a G27 mag and a G22 mag with spacer.

A&G's are nice. I personally like the PG-39 Pearce extension as it results in a grip that is just slightly smaller than a stock Glock 19. In fact I prefer the G26/PG-39 grip to a Glock 19 grip. I use the mags w/PG-39's for range/general purpose, and I use the stock mags for CCW.

NOTE: Though Pearce claims +3 w/the PG-39 (in 9mm)---NO WAY. I can get 11rds in before the mag bottoms out, using a mag loader. Just an FYI. If you're looking for increased capacity, the Pearce won't get you there. I strictly wanted a more "range" friendly grip, so they work great for me.

i have a grip extension for my gen 4 26. if you are using a back strap you have to file a little down to make sure the mag seats. if your not using a back strap you should file the back of the grip extension down so it doesn't stick out since the grip would be 2mm smaller. its really not a big deal but youll see what im talking about when you get them.

So far, I've tried both the A&G sleeve for G19 mags and a Pearce extension. I didn't like either one, because of pinching. Maybe I'll take a file to them. I do like the Glock 2 round extension, although I can only load 11 rounds. I shoot the G19 mags naked and it's fine.

I haven't looked for them for years, is there anyone other than A&G? The A&G's fit is marginal. They work, but not without a lot of fussing and fitting. If I did it again I'd probably bondo the crap out of it, jam it in the gun, and trim the spooge.
