Best DVD-R for Movies

    Hello, is there any "best" dvd-r media...is there one brand that is better than others..ie sony, maxell, tdk, etc....

    There is no single "best." What is better for one person, can be worse for another.

    I suggest reading up at http://www.videohelp.com/

    They have two relevant sections: DVD Media and DVD Players. You see, different players react differently to various media. On top of that, your burner may prefer some media to others.

    Your best bet is to research as much as you can on the net, and then buy a couple different types and try them out for yourself.

    I'd stick to a name brand ... I've used Sony, Verbatim and Memorex ... whichever happen to be on sale when I need more.
