    Try "6:00" (six o'clock) by Dream Theater. Short drum intro, but it gets me pumped.

    The drum intro to GN'R's "You Could Be Mine" on Use Your Illusion II is pretty cool.

    I never really liked Slayer since the 80's, but damn, that track is good enough to buy the CD for. Paul Bostaph is an excellent drummer.

    She Loves You by The Beatles. IIRC, that was possibly the first R & R record to ever use a drum intro. Very short yes, but still cool.

    "The Might of Rome" on the Gladiator soundtrack is out of this world...the drum into is INTENSE!

    got two to pick from, carter beauford (dmb) #36 from live at red rocks
    or ricki rockett from poison off the "swallow this" live album thats a long one, might just be one song in itself on the album
