Best Drop-in Bushing

    I recently acquired a 70 series Colt Gov't model. I would like to replace the collett bushing with a solid one. Seems that the MGW and Colt bushings get good feedback in the drop-in category. Does anyone have an experience based opinion on the better choice? Thanks.

    EGW makes some great bushings.

    i used a Ed Brown on my 9mm Loaded and it's a nice fit, since the dimensions were correct.

    with EGW, you can take measurements and they will send you a custom sized bushing.

    Yep, this is the best method short of taking it to a smith. Why would you want a sloppy one sized fits all?

    yep, i was going to get an EGW, but when i measured my barrel/slide, the Brown was the right dimensions for me.

    Briley spherical bushing, prolly my favorite for a series 70
