I have a Colt if that matters.
Thanks, in advance.

You want the best? There's only one: Tripp Research.I have a Colt if that matters.

Apparently Wilson Combat, Ed Brown, Les Baer, Nighthawk, Guncrafter disagreed. Perhaps they're not serious 1911 builders...Overall, for any 1911 in the universe, I would say Metalform or Checkmate USGI feedlips with the flat follower with the dimple.
Any serious builder of 1911s would agree with that.
I've always used the 8 and 10 rounders from Wilson Combat and never had any mag problems with my 1911's.I have a Colt if that matters.
Thanks, in advance.
Because the OP asked for the best 1911 mags and not the best value.I use Mec Gar in my Colt Combat Elite. Cheap and awesome. You could pay more, but why?
You must not have a lot of Wilson Combat mags in non-.45ACP calibers in order to make that statement.I have over forty WC magazines. All are problem free.
I really like the Wilson Combat mags. What ever you decide on, Don't go cheap. good mags are a must.I have a Colt if that matters.
Thanks, in advance.
ALL are in 45 ACP. 1911's in other calibers do not interest me.You must not have a lot of Wilson Combat mags in non-.45ACP calibers in order to make that statement.
Whoever makes them for Colt. I've never had any issue with stock mags.I have a Colt if that matters.
Thanks, in advance.
then you should qualify that your experience with trouble free Wilson Combat mags are only relegated to .45 caliber.ALL are in 45 ACP. 1911's in other calibers do not interest me.
I don't know who TF you think you are, but save your instructions on how to post for someone who's interested.then you should qualify that your experience with trouble free Wilson Combat mags are only relegated to .45 caliber.
I probably own close to 30 Wilson Combat mags in .45, 10mm, 9mm and .38 Super.
outside of the .45, I’ve found Wilson Combat mags performance in the other calibers to be less than stellar.
