I have a new G34 that came with a 5.5lb connector and I want to replace it with a 3.5lb connector. I will only be using this gun for IDPA and for GSSF. Any suggestions as to the best 3.5lb connector for this purpose? Thanks!

I don't like any of them, too creepy.....it has the best one in it already, but I'll bump your thread back up to the top. :)

Does it list it on the box label as a 5.5?

My 2 YO G34 is marked with a 3.5 connector. Feels great and haven't modified the trigger.

Yes, it says 5.5lb on the box. I thought that they came with the 3.5lb, so I did not think to check it before I bought it. When you say it has the best one already, were you talking about the 3.5 or the 5.5?

Did it come with three mags?

Normally they do have the 3.5 connector in them, but sometimes not. I know that when they are sold as LEO guns, they have the 5.5.....which is the better of the two IMO.....but it depends some on how you use/pull the trigger too.

I've found the LWD to be the smoothest, but not by a huge margin. If you want to shoot in GSSF, you'll need to stick with the stock one.

Since most G34's ship with a 3.5lb connector, wouldn't it still be "stock" if I replaced my 5.5 with an OEM 3.5lb connector?

Yup, it would be OK.....just no aftermarket stuff allowed except in the Unlimited Master match......with the exception of 'normal' sights and most grip covers.

Yes, it came with 3 mags and said 5.5lb on the blue sticker. I assumed all 34's came with a 3.5lb connector and did not know enough to check. I shoot my G26 better than my new 34, but my 26 has about 4k rounds through it and the trigger feels much better. I am HOPING that a lighter trigger on the 34 will help me.

The blue sticker is the key part of that info. The blue label Glocks come with 3 mags and a 5.5 connector, except for the subcompacts, which come with two.

This has been my experience with the different connectors, too. The 3.5#(4.5) feels slightly lighter but it feels mushy.
