Berkeley Gulp

    Anybody try it? They claim it outfishes live.

    I tried the 6" night crawler in natural color in my uncles pond and caught a 4 pound bass on it along with several smaller bass. They don't hold up to much abuse though.

    I wouldn't suspect the Gulp would hold up like plastic since it has to release the smell somehow.

    Pond fish are usually pretty easy. Have you tried Strike King's new plastic? It's real stretchy and super tuff, 3X I think they call it. There is another manufacturer making it too, or something like it IIRC.

    Actually I do not use worms very often, I got these for free though so I figuired I would try them. I usally use tubes that are salt impregnated. You are right pond fish usally are pretty easy, they don't seem to fight as hard as a lake or river fish.
