Woot! Just pulled the trigger on one of these bad boys in .40 S&W. Sadly I won't have it for about a week (had to be ordered), but I'm still pretty psyched. I just had to share the news with people who would understand my enthusiasm. Pictures to follow...in about a week.

how easy are they to get now, in my area they never last long on the shelves (because of all the indoor pistol ranges )

The local fun shop owner claimed he had three available to him but they go quick.

I have a CX4 in 9m/m that uses the mags from my 92FS pistols and that makes it very nice. It's fun to shoot and makes a pretty good travel/trunk gun.
The .40 cal model can be purchased or converted to use the 96FS mags too. 92 and 96 mags are plentiful right now.

I have been toying with the idea of adding a 9mm or 40 cal backpack carbine to the collection. I like the CX4 and obviously as a Glock lover I like the KelTec Sub2000.

I have one but don't shoot it much. Maybe 50 rounds of Blazer 165 gr FMJ through it. Not sure why I bought it.

I have a 9mm (92fs model) it's fun great on cans, and the GF loves it. Anything that keeps her coming out is worth it to me.

Have since added the top rail and a Konus Dot.

The day she came home, along with her two friends, gawd that was an awesome day at the gunshow.

Congrats on the Px4 40sw. I rented one at the range and it was very nice. Shot well and felt real nice in the hand.

I had one. It really didnt tickle my fancy. I traded it for a CZ-75.

However they are quite accurate and completely reliable from what I have seen. I am pretty sure I would have kept it if it took Glock mags.

FYI- I had a problem with the retractable front rail on mine. The spring retainer in it got misaligned which made the rail stick quite badly. Keep an eye out for that.

I bought mine with a M96 INOX and it makes for a real nice combination. Very accurate, holds on target and it handles nice.

It's a great training rifle too! Easy way to step from .22 to 9mm.

I like using rifles for newbies till I see that they understand the concept of 'muzzling' something.

I have successfully hit the 1000 yard gong with mine.... took a bit to get there, but it can be done (LOL)

But to top it all off.... the rifle just looks soooo cool! Very nice execution of styling combined with intelligent breakdown and ergonomics.

Naw, I don't like mine at all!

    Get one, they are awesome!

I've had one for several years now (9mm/92 mags) and have had zero issues with it...

After my Oly GL-1s it is probably my favorite PCC.

Oops, got mine two days ago but forgot to post a pic. The local fun store had to swap out the hi-cap mags for 10 rounders....thanks NYS AWB!

To be honest, I'm not sure. It's the first thing they jumped on when they opened the case.

Update: Apparently I have the CX4 Carbine 40SW PX4 which came with two 14 round mags. Glad I saved the tags, I never knew there are three models of Cx4 in .40 S&W (96, PX4, and 8040). It also means it came with the top rail mounted.
