I've been wanting one since I bought my CX4 this time last year. I've just got a few questions. Does anybody have one? Are they worth the money? Are they practical? Do they add a lot of weight to the front on the gun? Pics & opinions would be great if somebody has one.

I bought the solid Moerse Lekker shroud for my Cx4. Plenty of pictures on their site. The one I found interesting, and the clincher for me buying it over the Beretta shroud can be seen at the bottom of their page, showing how the gun no longer fits in the case with the Beretta shroud mounted.

Thanks for the info I'll check them out. It made me a little ill when I found out mine wouldn't fit into the case with the FACTORY forward grip.

It's a shoulder thing that goes up.

I have one on my PS90 and while it serves no real use it does make the carbine appear more "balanced" so I like it. No weight to speak of as it is super lightweight metal. I would say since you have wanted one so long you might as well get it.

An FN and a CX4 someone is a BSG fan boy.... no worries man so am I. I had the Beretta factory one on mine and liked it, didn't weigh it down at all. If you look hard Beretta made a limited run of "BSG" style shrouds a while back.

Yea I guess it was my Starbuck avatar that gave it away. I wanted the BSG shroud but mine is a 40 & they only fit the 9mm. I got the factory shroud yesterday & i like it pretty good.

Does anyone know if it will fit in the soft cx4 case with the shroud?
