Hey guys I'm new here, just got into the shooting scene myself, been in love with the beretta
Since I was a kid. Finally got one and am customizing it, its a 92fs and I have put a 14lb recoil spring, a skelotonized hammer and a set of rubber hogue grips on it. Any other effective and useful mods and or tips n tricks you guys know of?

Here are a few options: (at least the ones I could think of)

    -Adjustable Rear Sight
    -Light rail (Surefire)
    -Bar-Sto, KKM, or Jarvis barrel
    -barrel bushing
    -barrel comp
    -Lighter mainspring
    -Trigger job
    -hex head grip screws
-holster (holsters are modifications - I like my Serpa)
    -more mags!
-stainless or tungsten guide rod (or Buffer Tech)
-frame rail inserts (lot of work here)
    -.22 conversion
    -scope mount

Replace the hammer spring with a factory hammer spring from the DAO 92 FS. Do it now. Don't pass go, don't collect $200.00 just do it. You'll love the trigger pull, I guarantee it. You can contact Beretta factory in Maryland and order the part directly from them. It's a cheap part, it's a factory part. Call them directly, 301-283-2191. Install is easy.
