I have gone to Kore essentials primarily for the ratchet system. I have 3 of their 1.25 in dress belts (not for serious carry except in a pinch); and 3 1.5 inch gun belts (2 leather and 1 nylon - the nylon gun belt is a stiff a belt as I've personally ever seen.) They are so easy to re-size as you sit, stand, after dinner etc. I also have bigfoot and can recommend that as well, but it is not ratchet. My carry load is either SIG P365, or as large as G19 (with extra mag) - so nor large or very heavy metal guns.

I am using the Magpul™ Tejas Gun Belt – "El Burro". It is synthetic, not synthetic leather but kind of a polymer (maybe recycled pmags) that feels kind of like leather it is very light weight, medium stiffness. Working great with IWB carry. I like the buckle and it is removable, this is the charcoal colored one that I have. About $50 with a discount code from Midway.

I’ve been looking at the Crossbreed Crossover belt. No personal experience but it looks robust and is a rollerlock system so you could get a perfect fit.
The buckle is very thick, so moving it the the the 10 o’clock is probably a must.

My only gripe with Kore is they don't offer the nylon version in brown for some reason, only the leather version. Other than that their color options are very good.

Only read the first page. But my Beltman is about 15 years old and still works great. I may have to buy another one soon, because it seems to have shrunk a few inches. Couldn't be that I have gained weight, could it?

Once I tried the Mission Belt, the rest went in the garbage. I really love the ratchet style belt. And with a scissors, it can be modified to the EXACT length you want.

I have seen them recently at Costco, or you can order the exact style you want online.

How stiff is it? They don't appear to market them as gun belts.

they have so many choices, and I have not tried them all. but they work great if your pistol is the weight of a G34 and carry 3 mags. I haven't tried them with a heavier pistol.

I have seen them at Costco for $20. it's worth a try if you find them at that price. as soon as I got my first mission belt and tried it, all the rest went to the trash and I bought a couple more.

I really like the 5.11 belts, and they can be purchased online for a good price. Also, Academy, Bass Pro, and Gander Outdoors all stock.

I liked the first one so much, I bought a second so I don't have to swap it between my "go to town" jeans & my "work around the farm" jeans.
