I like many beers and there are many beers yet to love. Right now some of my (off beat) favorites are

This is an amazing Russian Imperial!

My standby beers (I can probably get them most places) are Stella, Newcastle, Guinness and Blue Moon.

Some of you guys need to put down the cheap beer asap! If it comes in cans, for $10 per 12-pack, and is available at every single corner gas station, it's not good beer. Life is too short for cheap beer.

    Some of my fav's:

    Magic Hat #9
    Darkhorse Amber
    Bells Oberon and Amber
    DogFish Head (Phenominal IPAs)
    Founders
    Sam Adams
    Goose Island Matilda and 312
    Three Floyds Gumball
    Delirium Tremens
New Holland Envious and Mad Hatter Imperial

Tis the season for some pretty awesome Octoberfests and Pumpkin ales too!

I will stock Yuengling as an EDB.

Everything else will be stouts, IPA's and ciders.

Cliche, I prefer quality over quantity. If I wanna just get hammered I have rum for that... good rum

ETA, yep I'm into it tonight.

My fav is Blue Moon, Belgian white. Never tried horse piss so I don't know what that tastes like. Amazing that some people have tried it.

I found Yeungling to be incredibly underwhelming when it was finally available in Ohio, very overrated. Tonight I'm trying out Oskar Blues' "Dale's Pale Ale", pretty good stuff.

Over the old standby's mentioned here so far?

As an EDB it's light years over Anheuser Busch and related lagers and pills.

    Really?

It's my favorite wheat beer. It sucks that it's not sold in Michigan though. Fortunately, I live very close to Indiana.

I'm jealous! I have to drive 45 minutes one way just to get it in a bottle.

I've been drinking a lot of Bud Light Platinum lately. I find that it does what I need it to do in good time so it works for me. I'm not a beer snob so any of the other so called American "horse piss" beers do just fine. You're okay in my book Okie. :wavey:

If this thread was about guns most of the posts would read "I like hi points and jennings mostly, but sometimes a Cobray is ok." Good grief, some of you haven't even tasted beer.

I love a rich, full bodied Trappist Ale. Beer/ale is not about "light" stuff so you can drink large quantities. Good brew is about slowly savoring the hard work to produce a hearty old world recipe.

Any wheat beer gives me the same headache. It's a shame because I really like them.

I traval a lot in central and south America (typing this while sitting in the crapper in Guatemala City :wavey:) every little country has a cerveza nacional. Here, it's Gallo...which isn't bad. Venezuela's is Polar, which is the worst beer on the planet, bar none. Okie...you at least need to branch out into some Mexican beers...XX Amber would be a good start and is easy to find.
