Had been looking for Columbia, SC to post soon. Didn't realize they were that far behind. Just checked and Michigan, which was the week before WV shoot, still hasn't posted finals. So, looks like it could be another week or more. They did get Conyers prelims up....I'm sure that took a lot of time with over 1000 entries!!!

    C'mon random goodness!!!

I see a post where several people have not received their hats.

All departments in Smyrna are on hold while all employees, on overtime, are weaving hats.

As soon as the hats go in the mail, prizes will be shipped.
Warranty repairs will resume sometime after Thanksgiving.

I knew all of the delays had to do with the hats. I'd gladly come work for glock if they need more help making hats.

Thats what I think to. They have had Conyers to deal with plus putting up all the other finals and prelims plus organizing matches. I think if they can do that for us I can be patient.

Lets see how things stack up for the staff of Chris, Scott, Cindy, Scotty, Donna and Erin:

    1. At least two go to each of the 40 matches, leaving on a Thursday or Friday and returning on Monday night. There are some two-matchweekends leaving only Donna in the office.

    2. April 2011 saw a surge of 4,000 new membership requests, resulting in depletion of the hat inventory. Members were sent their packets minus the hat. Then, 4,000 hats had to be mailed.

    3. Attendance and pre-registrations have increased at every match = more paperwork. The Conyers match had nearly 750 pre-registrations to process before the match, and 1,023 entry score sheet sets to process after the match.

    4. More matches and greater attendance = more prizes to be awarded and distributed.

    5. increased membership = increased renewals.

Glock operates on a very strict budget. Perhaps there will be an allowance for increasing the staff on April 1, 2012, when Glock's new year begins.

Every member of the GSSF Staff go above and beyond the call of duty to provide us the sport that we so love.

I am as eager as anyone else to see the Beckley finals, but I've learned to be patient.
