Good looking gun. I've seen several of his guns on here and 1911 forum.com and Dave does do some nice work.

Beautiful work. I just hope some of these pistolsmiths will be accepting work in a year when I send mine out...

And thanks for reintroducing trololo - I listened to it all last week and finally forgot about it...until now (youtube the remix, it's hilarious).

Man that is Pur-dee with a capital "P!"

I cannot say I am crazy about the flat trigger, but the rest of the gun is so nice I could live with it. :)

    Nicely done.

I know it's made by IMBEL, a quality manufacturer, but I still have a hard time accepting a 1911 that proclaims "Made in Brazil" on the side of the frame.

What is the finish? NP3? Electroless Nickle? or bead blasted stainless?

I like the reverse textured slide stop, and recessing that rear sight just looks awesome. Is it taller to compensate POA, or the front shortened too? Regardless, I love the look.

That's kinda' my thought too. If I were plunkin' the $ for a piece like that, it'd be a NM base. Nonetheless, awesome weapon I'd be more than proud to have.

Very Nice, I don't care for the white grips on a SS gun, but that is a minor detail
