Two 29 oz cans of hominy-drained.
3 cups of a equal mix of black/pinto/lentil bean mix.
1 packet of onion soup mix.
    1 packet of menudo mix.
    6-8 tomatillos chopped.
    1 medium yellow onion chopped.
    8-10 large garlic cloves chopped.
1/4 cup of crushed roasted Anaheim peppers.
A Lil cumin, basil, clove and oregano to taste.

Throw in crock pot over with water and wait.
You can soak beans if you want-I don't bother.
In about 7 hours I'm pigging out :eat:
    :wavey:
For carnivores a nice smoked ham shank!:tongueout:

This is my base recipe-salt and pepper or other seasonings to adjust to FOOD MOOD.

Thank you. That looks excellent, and fairly healthy too.

You know what would make that mo-betta? Cubed ribeye. :)

(And, FWIW, I thought my reference above was hilarious!)
