Hannie we were cloudy and 72 today. The leaves have started to turn. Could be fall before long, or could be hot next week.
I am looking forward to seeing Four Seasons. Not having to mow the grass all year long. Not breaking a sweat while hanging Christmas Lights. Lol, Have fun down South.
Give us a call next time you come to Atlanta and the Wife and I will take you to lunch, only about an hour down the Interstate.
If you are coming to Augusta, just around the corner.

Sorry if I bother folks I'm trying to get adjusted to four seasons. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. then spent twenty years in SE Florida, with Jan. Feb. Summer.
Yes, we have had plenty of hot humid this summer, but now I get to see four seasons for a while. But I think I am as far North as I want to be. I don't want to Shovel Snow or Drive on it. Interstate 20 is far enough North. I'm going to have to buy some more winter clothes. I have jeans and a couple of long-sleeved shirts. I might buy a couple of Flannel shirts. I have a couple of Denham shirts, but I have to lose about 20-30 pounds for them to fit again.

Yesterday I found a tiger shark tooth on the beach, the nicest one I have ever found in Florida. I haven't found nearly as many teeth here like I used to in SC. At my house there I have mason jars full of teeth.

Surf is up from that storm way out there. I'm expecting a visit from my two fave surfers soon.

Actually I haven't had to go to Atlanta since this China virus started. They moved all the work down here. I'm not complaining LOL.

So jealous, I had frost that killed off my pepper and tomato plants this morning. Later in the day I spent 2 hrs in my greenhouse to warm up with a glass of wine and a book, fell asleep in my chair and spilled my glass. Over all, good day I would say..................

Thank you so much FTM. You're the best!

The tooth on the left is the one I found here this past weekend. It's a tiger shark tooth, the nicest one I ever found in Florida. The other two I found back home in North Myrtle Beach. They are the nicest ones I ever found in SC. The one in the middle is from a white shark, and the one on the right is from a mako shark. The way you can tell the difference is the white shark tooth has serrated edges (you can see them if you look closely at the middle tooth) and the mako tooth does not.

Drizzly today. I had to pull Pork Chop out the door for our morning beach run, he doesn't like rain. Such a wimpy dog.

It's not raining hard, just kind of misty and drizzly.

Pork Chop is weird. He doesn't mind getting wet, because he will swim in the pool and run through the surf. But he does not like to be rained on.

It's Clear and 70 up here.
I've been out back cutting and splitting firewood all morning.
I want to have plenty for those cool/cold nights up here.

Fresh Pecan Pie, is too. The Next door neighbor told me I can have all the Pecans I want. He likes Pecan Pie but he can't get out and pick them up anymore. So I picked up the Pecans and shelled them. My Wife made Pecan Pie, and we took him one too. He has six trees and hates to see them go to waste.

Overcast but nice in Port Richey FL. I am an overcast cloudy kinda guy. The sun gives me burns and headaches. Add alcohol and I am screwed!

If you havent done so I highly, highly recommend taking a drive down to Everglades City and Chokoloskee Island. Some real old time FL down there. I don't know what its like with the virus situation going on as far as touristy stuff but still the drive and scenery is very nice and just very nature interesting. If you really want to spend some relaxing time and check it out rent a waterfront cabin on Chokoloskee Island!

Cedar Key, I can't decide if this is a fishing village with a drinking problem or a drinking town with a fishing problem. Danged tasty clams though.
