Sun was in and out all day. Mostly in.
Paloma fished with the neighbors' grandkids all afternoon. They were already over here first thing this morning asking if Paloma could come out and fish with them. How sweet! Paloma told them maybe after church.
Looks more like a bull shark.

This was actually up a little ways up the central coast of california. This is a little sorta secret beach by Pismo Beach/San Luis Obispo area.
Gulf beach water temp 90 degrees, air temp 92 degrees, dew point 76 degrees, feel like temp 108 degrees. And no relief in sight.
The Gulf is like a big bathtub, that's why it is always so hot on the west coast.
That's also why the storms in the Gulf are so nasty.
It takes a bit of effort (20 miles of gnarly single track forest service road and a steep five hike with 3000 feet of elevation gain through grizzly country) to get here but it's always at least 25-30 cooler than in town. Still snow on the ground.

Thanks. Selkirk Mountains near where BC, ID and WA intersect. I don't know where the lakes you mention are.
