I looked at many of the Russian optics in the past few years.

I can't seem to get over the overwhelming contrast to the Swedish made Aimpoints that can last 50,000 hours of battery life.

I have looked at the Russian sights but none of them are bright enough for me to see

My Kobra was bright enough for several deployments to Iraq & Afghanistan. Just something about the irony of a Russian optic on an M4 (quick-detach weaver base version)... Battery life was about 60hrs. I just changed the button cell battery once a week.
