If carrying IWB and you have stall walls going down low, it is easy to drop trowsers and slip the side of your tighty whities over the gun grip. If any casual looks of someone peeking in to see if occupied they won't see anything.

But what do you do if stall walls are short, and you are almost feet to feet with the next-stall neighbors?

Here's where I like the Glock 26 size and smaller, in preference to the Glock 19 and bigger. I empty my front pocket (move stuff to another pocket if needed), and slip my whole holster off my belt, and put it and the gun (gun never leaves holster) in my front pocket, then I can drop pants as low as I want, sitting nice and comfy with a wide stance and no worries :)

This desantis slim tuk is an example of a kind of holster that works good with this method. Basically should work with any compact design single loop holster. But it wouldn't work with a longer slide or longer grip. The G26 in a slim holster is the largest setup that fits in my front pocket :)

I never drop a deuce in a public restroom. Never. If there were only urinals I'd be o.k. with that. I wonder who these people are that go out in public to take a dump.

Wearing a kilt would have prevented this.

People on the road all day are likely to use a public restroom. Nice if you don't find yourself in that situation, but for those who do, I thought this could be a helpful thread :)

I can't remember the last time I used a public restroom but I would make it a rule to only use a one holer where I can lock the room

Really? Who drops their pants all the way to the filthy public restroom floor?

I will never understand why it is such a problem for some people to figure out how to use the toilet with a gun on their belt.

Do you need someone to wipe for you too?

This may not apply to you. How often do you get into town?

Drop it down as far as you want. Wasn't suggesting you take your boots off.

Some threads don't address all the issues people have, and those without issues have no need of some threads :)

The ability to pocket your holstered carry gun applies to some other situations as well.

For example, if you go to the doctor's office. When getting undressed, you can put the holster and gun in your pocket so it is not visible at all.

Maybe at a campground and using the shower there. Maybe there is a hook to hang your clothes, but no shelf? Place holstered gun in your pocket, then hang your clothes. Keeps everything together and off the floor.

Or maybe you need to take your shirt off for your lady friends?

Whatever the reason, it is handy to be able to take your holster and gun off your belt and place it out of sight in your pocket.

For those who carry 24/7/365, various types of situations can arise. I'm just saying being able to pocket your regular holster and carry gun is a nice option :)
