My local gun range had an event this weekend. Was able to shoot a lot of fun guns. These are me trying the barrett. So much fun.

Who in the heck would want to shoot a Barrett indoors. My god, the concussion!

    Cool guns though.

What range is that? Looks kind of like Bills, I'm surprised they let people shoot a 50 cal rifle inside if it is at Bills.

Ya it's bills, that was the smaller part of the range.

First time I shot one was on an indoor range. The door into the actual range was literally a vault door. At the time it was closed, but not locked, and some other people were inside shooting. Even through the vault door and thick walls, I could feel the concussion every time they fired the Barrett. The blast off that thing is nothing to trifle with.

    My thoughts exactly!:wow:

We don't have any indoors ranges here.

Bring your "Little Barret" here and I will set some targets waaay out there the way Mr Barret intended.:patriot:

It's like the opposite of watching hickok45 snipe his 230 yard gong with a glock 27.

I thought you couldn't shoot a 50 inside. It would go thru the bullet trap and everything?

I would love to fire a Barrett some day....but NOT indoors. Talk about a flinch!

Outdoors at at least 200 yards, FTW!

Double ear pro and eye pro goes a LONG way. Even on an outdoor range, you'll want good ear pro and solid eye pro, as the blast off the muzzle brake is... impressive, to say the least.

My daughter just fired mine. She was surprised by the shockwave going up her nose.

.50BMG, 7mm RUM, and .460 S&W have all been GREAT at cleaning out my sinuses.

Well, once I got over the burning sensation, anyway. :whistling:

Fire the Soviet 14.5mm machine gun. The powder residue is caustic and will leave you with a bloody nose.

OMG! I would love to shoot the .50 cal, but inside? What kind of bullet trap/backstop did that range have?
