    the OC and magastos method:

get hoppes 9 (na binili mo sa hahn maski pa ayaw mo), get your barrel brush, suksok mo sa chamber end, patak patakan nang hoppes at i brush in and out all the way hanggang magsawa ka.

tapos dry patches na binasa' nang hoppes, swab swab, do this hanggang wala nang visible fouling. tapos dry patches na dry nga, then one clean dry patch na medyo binasa nang hoppes din or CLP. dapat nice and shiny na ang bore by this time. pwede nang pang take nang "james bond" na picture.

    cheapass method:

wag nang linisin, or kung talagang gusto, gaas lang gamitin in place of hoppes and CLP ayos na.

ed's red is also a good mixture na mura lang gawin in bulk, for all around cleaning.

    yan ang recipe:

I too use a modified Ed's Red. Automatic transmission fluid & kerosene 1:1, maganda pang linis ng powder residue. For tough lead fouling, I wrap 2 layers of Chore Boy over a stiff nylon brush & work it back & forth on the barrel. Do this dry. Watch the lead flakes fall off! (Chore Boy is copper mesh na pang linis ng kaserola). This method has not harmed my barrels.

hoppes no.9 really does a good job of getting those nasty lead, stains, etc. out.

chalk me up as another hoppe's no.9 addict...

    must be the smell ;f

if you think about it, hoppes9 actually smells like banana essence.
