IF I was looking for computer games, remote control race cars/trucks, radio-controlled aircraft models, etc, I'd have no problem; BUT, what I am presently trying to do is build some hand-launch and rubber cord-launch (bungee) gliders for a little six y/o who desperately wants to build his own.

There is not one hobby shop within 100 miles of my home which has a supply of balsa, so it's looks like I'll have to use the internet. Now, after searching that, I find there are darned few dealers who offer balsa and most are abroad..

Do any of you reading this have a supplier of balsa?? Halp!;4

Not sure if its what you're looking for, but the first result on Yahoo was Balsa USA. They say they sell blocks, sheets, sticks, etc. of balsa.

Hobbytown USA. I'm sure they have a website, if not a store near you.

Thanks for the replies, guys. All were appreciated.

This,"I've used and been pleased with all three." was what I was looking for. I have been disappointed in the quality of materials ordered via the net, and knowing someone has BTDT, really helps.

JohnG27, were you to select a glue to compare with the fast, solid, Ambroid of old, which would you select??
