    Anyone here read Backwoodsman Magazine?

I dig it, some great articles on scrounging, building, survival, putting food by, and knifemaking.

Always fun to read, just too bad it is every other month

It's been a year since I posted this, and perhaps it'd be better suited in the preppers area.

I read the magazine every other month when it's published. I have learned a bunch of great stuff on blacksmithing, restoring old guns, food prep, gun history, fishing/hunting, etc.

It is a forum type magazine, with articles submitted by the magazine's readers. If this sounds interesting to you, check it out. I have found it in Wal-Mart among other places.

I am in no way affiliated with Mr Ritchie, just find his magazine of 31 years to be excellent.

My milkman was telling me about that magazine the other day. I'm gonna head up to the store later for some floppy disks.....I'll drop by the magazine section and see what they got.

No, it's a different magazine. Back Woods is good, but Backwoodsman is the best in my opinion.

Well when you are out in the boonies hiking and your GPS batteries die and your cell phone can't get a signal you might wonder to yourself.

"self, how did guys survive in the woods before batteries??" So, better stay in the concrete jungle.

I stumbled upon this magazine just about a year ago and so now have 6 or 8 issues.

I need to order Best of Backwoodsman magazine volume 1,2,3,ect

I pick it up every time I see it at Barnes and Noble. Fun read.

I also enjoy Back Woods Home. I get the 2 confused all the time as well. Both are good. They are both one of those magazines I keep saying I need to subscribe to.
