His other ads seems like a good deal. 2nd gen glock 19 with laser sight for $400. And a 223 pistol. Not too bad.

It seems that he is doing all this for a Taurus 1911, so he must not know what he’s doing.

My thoughts too. My buddy has grabbed a couple of good deals on this site. For instance - traded a keltec P3AT for a full size XD9 straight up. The guy said it was too big for him.

But the compliments about the Highpoint is what made me laugh and shake my head..

I've never owned one, or even handled one, but I've heard lots of people say the ones they've owned have been very reliable. I just skimmed the "young, dumb, cheap gun" thread that is active now, and nobody that i saw mentioned one as being their worst purchase.

Highpoint...best buy for someone who never shoots accurately, but wants to carry a gun. Ask any gangster.

MY brother tried to convince me to buy a hi-point 995 (because he owns one) when I was looking into buying the Cx4 Storm. Glad I didn't listen (I still think he was adopted). When I was showing my brand new Cx4 to him and his son, he described it as the gun his hi-point wishes it was. I lol'd.
