My VFD is looking for 2-4 quality EMS backpacks that will hold a D sized O2 cylinder along with BLS (EMT-B level) gear for our wildland trucks. The bags would spend most of the time in the truck, but the potental exists to grab it and hump into the woods where somebody droped or got hurt/burnt.

Right now we have a cheap gals bag, but the trucks go on remote fires along with national wildland dispatches.

    Any recomendations?????

You might want to contact this guy...

    Hawkepaks.com, Inc. - 906 Barstow Ave. Suite F Clovis, CA 93612
    Phone: 800-431-7134, Fax: 559-298-0919,
    Email: hawkepaks@yahoo.com

This guy sometimes will do a special addition to an existing product for testing purposes. If it works out, he'll add it to the product line. I've met the guy. He's really a good guy.

Wehnr I go to work tommrow I will check what we use. Our o2 bag is a backback style bag, but for a BLS rig you could put some basic bandaging and splinting stupp plus a bp cuff in there just fine.
