Congraduations! I won’t hold it against you being an officer. Actually I came to respect a few officers when I was in because they led from the front and not the rear.

Captain Wright was one. 21st SP’s- 1980
Also Captain Faithful- more for his name than anything.

CAPTAIN FAITHFUL! Able to leap tall hangers with a single bound. etc.

Just try to keep in mind that, as far as knowing what's what in the Air Force, most 2-stripers will outrank you.

I was an E-5 before I went to OTS and it helped my attitude after I got my commission. :supergrin:

My best friend in the SP’s got out as a E-5, went to college and came back in as a captain after getting his M.D. He retired as an Army Lt. Colonel.atriot:
