Just got back from Maxwell AFB. I am now officially a 2LT and part of the most lethal military this world has ever seen! Next stop...Hill AFB in Ogden, UT. Not too sure exactly what I will be doing yet, but it will be something to do with developmental engineering.

If anyone has any questions on OTS let me know. There are a lot of things I wish I would have been told.

P.S: The fiance loves the blue uniform!

Congrats, I think I remember you saying that you were getting ready to goto OTS.

I have a hate/love thing with LT's. I hate the guys and love to look at those young, college, party girls with the tight behinds.

Don't forget to give the dollar to the poor guy that salutes you first.

The "I know a cop" part would be a clue.

She's not OTS. She's just a cop, and going to Hill.

Congratulations, sir!

I know we've been over strength for a few years, and that this month some officers were cut in force shaping 2.

What's your degree in, and were you enlisted before going OCS?
My degree is in Electrical Engineering. I am a non-prior. Also, yes they are cutting some officers. At Maxwell AFB (where OTS is), they just cut a bunch of officers. Engineers are only about 50% manned though, so I think I'm pretty safe.

Congrads LT,

My wife goes to OTS in October she is excited and scared.

Myself Currently a USAF Capt Serving with the Army on a 6 month Desert Tour. 21R3 is what I am. Logistics Readiness Officer. Former 14N Intel Officer

My career field is going to be hurting I think in the future our deployments keep going up and people keep going out. Thank the army for wasting a ton of money.

Engineer well as a line officer please keep the common sense. I know too many engineers that know how to put things together but praticallity is not their thing.

Do not ever let an Army NCO or Officer have a blank check.
I am trying to fix their problems with accountability and they I had a Army Major tell me I am a *********g As****e for doing things the right way when we can get all new stuff instead of reuse gear. That gear is now in DRMO. DONT WASTE TAXPAYER MONEY!!! Sorry on the soap box again.

Congratulations Lt. It's been a long time since my days n uniform, but about a year ago I moved to Texas from South Weber Utah. I lived close enough to Hill AFB that the mule deer on base were a rifle shot away from my front porch <G>

Enjoy your time at Hill, it's a great place to be stationed.

Have a steak for me at the Ruby River on Riverdale Road, I really miss those steaks.

Let me know if you have any questions about the area.
