No pics, because it looks like every other standard Baby Glock.

Man! What a hand cannon! I've got the .40 S&W barrel on order, but I'm really impressed with .357 Sig. (And so is everyone else that was at the indoor range with me last night.) WOW!

    Congrats!
If I may ask, how does the recoil compare to the 27??

    I haven't shot a 27, but since a 33 with a .40 barrel IS a 27, I'll let you know when Lone Wolf ships the barrel.

The guys at the range, one of whom has my exact setup, says the perceived recoil is greater with the .40 than with the .357 Sig, but the the .357 Sig is faster, straighter, and has a more impressive glow...

There is much more recoil with the .357sig then the .40 with my G32 using a drop in Glock barrel.

I wanted to use .40S&W for practice but the difference in recoil doesnt accurately simulate .357sig to consider myself "practicing" and not just shooting something different...

It all depends on the ammo you are shooting though. I found Remington UMC to be quite a handful. But even Ultramax Remanufactured ammo feels like self defense .40S&W too me, maybe even a little more recoil...

Going Monday to shoot my G32 for the first time, depending on how that goes I may see a 33 in my future. My poor G26 may never leave the safe again.

congrats on the 33. I ccw one. I looked around on the net and found a new factory barrel for a 27 with 4 mags on another forum. Whole package cost me less than a Lone Wolf barrel. IMO, you won't regret the 33 any.

I have 33 and love it. I don't compare recoil to 27 but to lightweight J frame s & w when shooting .357 mag. Althought the glock in 125 grain has about the same energy and velocity ( the plus going to the Glock) the j frame is down right nasty to shoot. The recoil and blast can be punishing with the J frame. By comparison the the G33 is easily controlled not at all punishing and with a significantly lower muzzle blast. No its not a 9 or even a 40 but if you want a serious cartrige in a compact package the 33 is the way to go

I have a Glock 33 barrel that I occasionally drop in to my G27 and I can't really tell much difference in the recoil between the .357Sig and the .40S&W.
But the muzzle-flash is definitely bigger and brighter when shooting the .357Sig.

I'm surprised you cant feel the difference.

Glocks spec with the G27 has ~475 J of muzzle energy, the G33 has 665 J. Thats about 29% more muzzle energy which usually translate into more felt recoil esp when comparing near identical guns...

Obviously ammo is a factor. I just used Glocks technical data....

I have no problem telling the difference between both rounds when using a drop in barrel. The .40s&w feels like I'm taking a break when I'm firing it...

    +1

Im not all that sensitive to recoil but there's definitely more with the .357 than the .40.
