    Just an interesting thing...

The unemployment office is posted with a "No Weapons Allowed" sign.

    But.....

Just underneath is a longer note that says that a weapons locker IS available if you ask for the office manager. They even give you the key.

It nice to see an AZ government office actually fulfilling the letter of the law.

Sweet! Now the criminals not only know where the weapons are, but also who has the keys! Brilliant!

You can thank T.U.G. and www.azcdl.org for that.

Are you a member of AzCDL?

If I am not mistaken, that is a requirement in AZ state law. All government "places of public accomodation", i.e. unemployment, motor vehicles, voter registration, etc., MUST provide for either carry to be allowed or, if not, lockboxes at the entrance.

Most of those places are in compliance, although a few are lagging behind. I was selected for jury duty a couple of years ago, and the courthouse had lockboxes for public use.

    YMMV

Beats having to walk two miles back to the car and leave it to be stolen.
