Hello all. I just moved to AZ from NM. What a welcome change. I've held CCW tickets from NM and UT since 2008. AZ has issued me a CCW without the normal class training based on my UT ticket.

I have reviewed all of the AZ CCW regs here in 13-4:

http://www.azleg.gov/ArizonaRevisedStatutes.asp?Title=13

So, I was ecstatic when I read the section below. Can someone please expand on what I think I'm seeing here?

"13-413. No civil liability for justified conduct

No person in this state shall be subject to civil liability for engaging in conduct otherwise justified pursuant to the provisions of this chapter."

http://www.azleg.gov/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/13/00413.htm&Title=13&DocType=ARS

In NM, when you are a shooter in an SHTF situation, it is pretty certain you will endure a civil suit filed by the BG's survivors. Even if the cops don't charge you with anything. Huge awards are not uncommon. Especially if the BG is Hispanic. Small chance of that in NM, lol.

Anyway, it's good to be here. I've already joined the local action pistol club. The wife and I are enjoying the hekk out of it. We have several very happy Glocks.
