I'm watching it now. This is the first time I have seen it.

I'm probably in a minority, but I find it boring. I only watched Ice Road Truckers to pass slow Sunday evenings when literally nothing else even remoting interesting was one. This new pawnshop one is an illustration of just how ridiculus this stuff is getting.:faint:

I won't watch it religiously but sooner or later I'll catch a few episodes and I'll find it interesting enough to watch them.

First time I saw it was today. Love the animated "enactments", the "run, run, RUN!!!!!" editing is beyond hillarious.

Looks like a bunch of drama queens, prancing around for the cameras.

Except for the heli-loggers, only saw a little bit of them but it seemed that they had their crap together.

Also seems like the cutters have the best job, if I was going to try logging I would persue that.

I like it. Good entertainment and interesting machines they use.
It sure beats a lot of the junk on TV.

I'm sure pay is "decent" but if youll notice those guys running around down in the fallen trees are young. most of the guys in the machines are the older guys.... I guess they make a decent living since they keep coming back every year....

It's a neat show & I watch it now and then. Seems kind of one dimensional though compared with Deadliest Catch.

Though they don't work on the scale as those big outfits out west, it is hard dangerous work. I am sure they are encouraged or ordered to ham it up for the camera. Watching guys work their hind ends off would get old quick otherwise. The absolute worst for me is the orange county guys, I am into motorcycles(main transport) and that show is so formulaic it is repulsive, always the omnipresent deadline, with Jr. and Sr. fighting all the time and the one with the glasses for comic relief. I watched a couple of episodes and just gave up.:faint:
