Thought I'd share my old family recipe for those looking for something better for thanksgiving. It's truly the best I've ever tried. 1 Can Pumpkin (Libby's 15oz) 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups milk 2 eggs 2/3 cup brown sugar 2TBS white sugar 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ginger 1/4 tsp cloves 1/2 tsp nutmeg 2 9" frozen pie shells or make your own crust Mix all but milk with hand mixer; add milk. Bake at 400 for 50 minutes. Makes 2 pies. Add some whipped cream when served and it is dang good!!
