I loved Avatar. It was a little over the top, but still a good story.

Image quality is amazing. Any thought to putting these on the SNAs to follow what they're looking at?

They would have to get permission from the front office but hands free devices are legal as per OPNAV 3710. Now if the squadron's wanted to fund them, might be a good idea, better view than just HUD tapes.

I'd think they'd be a tremendous training aide. Just watching where your head was looking gave me great insight about where you were in the flight. Add sound, and that would be a hell of a debriefing tool and study material.

Sounds like a FITREP bullet point opportunity!:wavey:

Hi Bunk, what is the job of the person in the back seat, what happens if something happens to the person flying the plane, can the other one fly it also?

Was that an intentional touch and go at end or was it just a bounce? Didn't seem to flare at all.

Awesome video. I will be down watching the Blues open up their season tomorrow in El Centro, its been fun watching all the Thursday and Saturday over the field practices this year. No airshow will ever be the same after watching them from right off the end of the runway.

Navy landing. Centered a one high ball in close*, but was otherwise a nice pass. Applied power and bounced back into the pattern.

    * I know, I know. Everybody hates a RIO LSO.

The aircraft can be flown from the front or cockpit. Except for instruments, the students fly in front and we watch or can take controls. We fly every type of training event from both seats when going through the instructor training unit.

Touch n go carrier style, we fly optimum angle of attack, which is 17 units in the Goshawk. He is a student, doesn't have his ball flying skills squared away yet though like F14scott said, it wasnt a bad pass.
