I ran the previous version for a while with no issues, and upgraded recently.

The new interface is much nicer.

    I'm currently running version 5.0.418.
I haven't had it detect any malicious files yet.
But I've only been running it for 5 days now.

I will say, That if it runs any where as good as the older version
then it is a must have for "FREE" virus protection. It's done very well
    at "Java/Frame" virus.

Also the User interface is VERY nice compared to the old.

I'm running it on Windows XP, and Vista both 64bit.

I have it one PC. It seems better than before. I'm not sure if it's better than the one Microsoft has for free now. It detected MIRC installer as infected but not the installed MIRC program. I'm not sure why that was. I'm running Online Armor firewall and Sandibox with Avast 5.0.418. The previous version had some issue where it wouldn't run but the 418 program update fixed it.
