This months challenge is Smaller and Smaller and Smaller.

Thought I'd try something a little different. Hopefully most have access to a printer either at home, work, or a buddy.

    Print the target found here.
    TARGET
Make sure printing scale is set to 100% when you print it.

Shoot 1 shot at each black centered bull (all 15 of them)
A clean hit will score 10 points
Shots touching edge of black bull will score 5 points
Shots outside the black bull will score 0 points
Don't worry about the info at bottom or the 5 shot group unless you want to use it for sighters before shooting for score.

    Max score is 150

    Any Rimfire rifle or handgun
    Any sights/optic (unlimited scope magnification)

Rifle Range: 25 yards, 50 yards or 100 yards (Your pick or try all 3 - will separate scores by distance)
Any two piece rest is fine. No vise type rests or lead sleds.
    Handgun range: 10 yards
    Standing unsupported

Photo of target and firearm required with distance target was shot.

I'll give it a try after I get moved and unpacked. Looks like it ought to be fun.

Love the title! Should be a lot of fun, and thank you for thinking it up. :)

Makes me wish I had a .22 to try this with.

Now you have the perfect excuse to go get one:D

Remember it is often easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission...at least that's what all the GT enablers say.;)

Well I decided to try this with my Ruger 77/17 with 4 power fixed scope. The top two rows were ok, but I did not manage to score any in the third row. This scope is a K mart special from so far back it was made in Japan. Pretty clear. I used my soft bag as my only rest.
My vision is not what it used to be. I tried it with open sights on a .22 Marlin Youth model but couldn't even see the targets at 25 yards. I used the .17 hmr because its the only rimfire I have with a scope attached.
Hope to give this another try this month.
If the .17 is not permissible, just ignore my score.

    Distance 25 yard
    Score 70

I had printed some of these targets and I forgot them when I went to the range today. Oh well, next week. It looks like a fun one. I’m pretty sure I can clear it with a rifle at 25 yards. I’ve been wrong before. 10 yards with a pistol looks pretty tough. I look forward to trying it though.

I hadn't ever shot the target with a pistol, but wanted to try and include something to at least get the handguns out. 10 yds was tough and 7 yds wasn't much better for me. Probably should have done the scoring for pistol different but we're just shooting for fun anyway.

    Score = 10. :eek:

I'd say that's pretty good for a pistol.

I tried it with my Ruger 22/45 iron fights yesterday at 10 yards.
    My score?
    5.
Don't even put me down for that.
