Would you adopt me as a grandson? I lack a cool grandpa. I'll work on your ultralight and build bigger berms behind your targets.

No, I guess not.

It's not by accident that I don't have any kids (or (Grandkids).
I'm just too mean.

It's a wonder my Wife put up with me for 30 years.

Maybe a chauffeur/cook/butler ??
Well I am looking for a pretty lady house keeper.

You would be surprised how hard it is to find one that likes cats and dogs, can drive a tractor, likes to reload ammo and shoot and has loose morals.

Just can't get good help now days.

LOL. I saw a pic of his berm and asked where in TX. Thought I was the only sycophant.

P.S. I am handy with a shovel if in N TX.
I just answered you.
Sorry, I'm bad for not checking my mail.:embarassed:

What's this shovel stuff?

I've been building up the backyard range recently.
That machine does a lot of work but it scares the hell out of me when I try to get the dirt on the top of the berm. That loaded bucket, up high, will roll the tractor over in a split second.

I built a lot of those buckets when I was at Caterpillar!

The way you have posted about your wife in the past, I would be willing to bet you are not quite as mean as you say.

Maybe you could have a soft spot for an adopted grandson.

However...
Try it out. Then, If you are as mean as you say, you will probably have run him off long before you have to get "mean" and kick him off the property. Plus, you may have already had him dig his own grave.

Just thinkin'...free labor = win-win for you

I'll just come out and admit that I just want to be like FSA and bum off your expansive gun collection and ammo stash. Maybe even a free meal.

Maybe even a free meal.
You were doing OK up to there.

I'm probably the only one in the country that can't cook, even in a Crock Pot.
No joke.
I had to throw away the first few meals I tried to cook in a big Crock Pot a friend gave me.
Even the dogs wouldn't eat it and they eat cat poop.

Speaking of which. I have to find something to eat for dinner now.
The neighbor called and wants me to teach his daughter to shoot this evening. :)

I would think with the number of people who you have taught to shoot and the people you have loaned/given ammunition to that your neighbors and friends ought to be able and (more than) willing to bring a plate a couple evenings a week and invite you over for dinner a time or two a week.

Yeah, sometimes.

We finished shooting a few minutes ago.
My neighbor invited me out for dinner this week.:)

BTW- even though the lady was scared at first, she did real good with a Ruger SR22, Rossi two inch 38 and a 45 Ruger SR1911.
She was shooting on the move before we finished. All ten shots in the steel target with the SR22 while back peddling. :)
