I drive for my job all over western PA and all of Ohio.

One thing I have noticed in Pa there seems to be a lot of advertising/ signs/ billboards/ stores radio adds.
In other words there seems to be No shame!

Now Ohio its another story up here near Cleveland/Akron/Alliance area there are stores but almost no advertising.
Alot of stores are low key, back out of the way places for that matter I have been to some shops that are so low key you almost feel like your doing some back room arms deal.

And I am not talking about Big box stores they don't count. (dicks gander mountain)
What are you experiences in your neck of the woods?

Oh and anyone here from Altoona? Very nice place, the drive up US-22 is great nice views.

I was born and raised here, I know its painful, Ohio never wanted CCW laws, they only did so as to not to stick out to the rest of more progressive thinking states,, It will take many more years for them to get out of the back woods,

I hope I will see it in my lifetime, But things will slowly improve, They are in the works now, As soon as they have a track record of seeing that law abiding citizens are not going to murder each other in the streets, And major and Violent crimes goes down, Ohio has some of the most stupid firearms law in the country.

Over in Ohio there is quite a few restrictions on guns(mag capacity 30+1 max and I think some stuff is banned in the bigger cities) but theres a lot of progun people over there and a thriving black market run by expolice/military.

I love PA. I was born, raised, and still reside in the very middle part of the state. A "Gun Bash" is a raffle. Most of them provide free food and beer to anybody who buys a $10 ticket. You also get multiple chances to win some great guns.

Gun bashes are like cookouts with gun and gear raffles. They're pretty sweet eventhough I haven't won anything at one yet.

You are too far north for guns in Ohio.
You are too far west to find Anti-gun problems in PA.

If you want to go head to head, look at Cleveland and say Philly. Both are strong anti-gun places.

I think Pits and Col. are basically the same. These are moderate areas.

If you want to find gun friendly places look in the hills of PA and OH.

My family is from Pittsburgh, but live in NE Ohio now. I live in Akron, but work in Cleveland.

The closer you get to Cleveland the worse it gets. Many of my friends live in townships in the Akron/Canton area and their neighborhoods don't have a problem with guns or shooting. They even come over and a few times tried it out or brought their own blasters.

Also the anti-gun views go hand-in-hand with anti-hunting views.
