I happened to be in a Borders books yesterday and found a three volume HARDBOUND set of Lord of the Rings marked down to $12.99. The suggested price on the box was $65.00, so I think it was a pretty good deal. Time to retire my worn-out paperback copies that I've had for 25 years.

The publisher is Houghton Miflin and they are unabridged. These are the hardbacks with stills from the Peter Jackson movies on the dust jackets. I tried to find the set on borders.com, but didn't have time to sort through the 1400+ titles that came up when I searched for "Tolkien." They are nice books, especially for a little more than what one paperback costs these days.
