    No kidding! He had a lot going on, communicated all of it, and put it down in one piece. Thats some good aviating! Our son was there later with a USMC crash crew.

    The refueling hose appeared to be on the left; the two engines out were on the right.

    I suspect something major happened.

    I'm pretty sure the brief intro said they clipped wings. I'll listen again.

    Edit Yep it was in the black box text at the start. Said they clipped wings.

    I'm just speculating, the 130 can't go that fast, the fighter has a hard time going that slow, I'd venture a guess that may have contributed to the problem?

    Speed differences used to be a big problem between the KC-97 and the B-52. Especially when the B-52 got heavy.
