I was going through some old boxes and found a stash of my old cassettes and cd's from the 90's.

In this box, I found a pristine Astro Creep 2000 cd from White Zombie.

God, this takes me back...I forgot how cool and strange this album was.

Solid record, no doubt. But I always hated More Human than Human. Could never figure why that was released as the big single.

If you ever get a chance to see him live do it. The show is like an acid trip nightmare exploded on the stage, dancers, monsters, flames everywhere

Not as good as Vol 1, but decent. I thought his early live shows were good (saw him on the first tour), but he's in and out on the vox most of time from being out of breath.
Opening act Prong blew him up.

I saw them live when they did the tour for this album. I agree about More human than human. That song seemed to consistently be the one he performed worse live than any of the others. That being said, I loved the show and it was a ton of fun.

I checked the track listing on Amazon, I think my favorite song from that album had to be "More Human than Human".

I think White Zombie's best song ever had to be Thunderkiss '65 (I do not know which album ...besides Rob Zombie's greatest hits collection). I know it is old, but when I hear that song coming on, I cannot help but head bang!

Electric Head, Part 2...track #5. Awesome.

Thunderkiss '65 was off Vol 1...and yes, it was killer.

Vol 1 was epic...he hasn't done anything like it since, but then again that was the only album with the original White Zombie lineup.

I got a chance to listen to the album more today. I really like it, even after all these years. The album liner art kicks ass...twisted cartoons, lyrics, total freakshow stuff. I have the songs running in my head now.

I did those intros to each song.

Every single time I hear a Rob Zombie song, I think of Twisted Metal 3 or 4.

Oh, and, the chick in the intro for More Human Than Human is faking it!

White Zombie was one of the first bands I looked up when I found Spotify. Brought me back as well. I've been listening to it while jogging lately.

I was just listening to this the other day when I was trying to organize all of my tracks for iTunes. Anyone ever play the 3DO fighting game that had "Vol 1," as it's being called here, as the soundtrack? I think the soundtrack MADE that game.

    Black Sunshine.

I was driving a gold Mach 1 with black racing stripes with volume 1 playing.

Man, talk about going back in time!

Saw White Zombie a bunch of times in Los Angeles and once in Lawrence, Kansas. To bad Rob Zombie has made it clear there will never be a White Zombie reunion.

Black Sunshine, the guy speaking on the track is Iggy Pop! How cool is that? I saw the tour for that album right before "Thunder Kiss" blew them up. The wife calls and asks, "I got free tickets from work to go see this show, you wanna go"? I asked what "show" she was referring to to which she replied, "I dunno, White Zombie, Panterra, and Megadeth". Was a hell of a show my friends, I was never the same again.

Last time I saw him he had his animation playing in the background, wild stuff.

    John 5 is awesome.

It sure does. The album liner alone makes it uber-cool again for me.

I was always partial to this one after getting burned out on the heavily played stuff:
