    The article said that US hasn't stopped producing tanks since WWII. I thought the Abrahms was out of production and only being refurbished? HH

    Its tough to blame the military when congress forces programs down its throat.

    I wish some of our elected lawyers could just say "This is not a good idea" instead of "jobs in my district".

    It's a lot more fun to say "military industrial complex." All you have to do to sound like an informed hipster at the next movie screening is learn how to say that term slightly dramatically, shout the word "corporations" with a disdainful tone and sprinkle in "Haliburton" with a note of accusation in your voice.
