You can actually do it yourself as based on your post, it seems the parts are pretty much standard and should simply be a drop in. A warning though, if your FA is an armscor and the 1911 parts that you have is say a colt, you may have to render the services of a gunsmith to fit it as I know the tolerances between makes are not all the same.

I havent tried to the grip safety change but it seems in mine, the slide stop and manual safety differ.

Mukhang ok naman yung grip safety na nakakabit, beavertail na 'yan. Kung mas maganda yung beavertail na binigay sayo eh di sa colt mo na lang ikabit.

there are 2 types of beavertail grip safeties, drop-in and gunsmith fit.

your frame needs to be trimmed at the junction of the tail if you have a gunsmith fit para ma-blend sa frame.

from your attached picture, you have a drop-in beavertail grip safety already.

mahal ba sa inyo magpakabit ng beavertail? medyo kailangan kasi ng magandang kamay dito para maganda ang fit. trabaho talaga to ng gunsmith. medyo mukhang baguhan ka lang kaya, may doubts ako sa results. well, if you have money to burn, sige go ahead

No need to change your ambi thumbsafety if you install a beavertail.

Here's a link to a guide on beavertail installation: http://www.blindhogg.com/gunsmith/beavertails.html
