I only watched today. Next time I will give the guy who always finishes last a break.
I enjoyed the competition a lot and look forward to getting started. Anyone else who wants to join the group feel free to come out. They are a great bunch of guys and are more than willing to assist anyone who shows up.
    Thanks for being there guys.
I do have one question more. When do the ladys shoot their competition?
I already asked what do I do if I run out of ammo trying to hit the fall down target. ( Surrender.)
    :)

    Kenc,
In competition/s (which i join just once), the number of rounds required is specified in a COF / mentioned also in stage briefing,
make sure you got lots of ammo otherwise it wil be scored as a miss or failure to neutralize (whatever its called)

By the way you and will be competing on who's the best newbie to give the last guy to finished a break;f

don't worry Ken, you'll do okay! you only need to get lots and lots of range time! there are always a ladies' category. they shoot with all the others.

gmv: so are you hooked, yet? IDPA is good to get you started and familiarize yourself with pistol competition. But it does get boring after a while! IPSC is where the big boys play!

IDPA "i dont practice anymore" ;f thats what they call it at brians forums.

Its a nice game but i like ipsc better. the first 2 times i shot idpa with a single stack 1911"borrowed" i won both times by shooting a's ipsc speed with idpa instructions.

as long as its shooting its fun.

    nice to meet you Ken.

Watch EC how he reloads on the move....Also practice, practice and more practice. It is how these big names get their reputation.

Sir Eye Cutter, the IDPA was my first ever pistol competition. Mukhang mapapadalas ako. Hopefully someday I get to play with the big boys ;f

if you have the time and the money, keep joining idpa. my first 3 comps were idpa. though A BIT different from ipsc, it helped me calm my nerves during any match.

The first few shots were really nerve-racking. Iba talaga and pressure sa competition. I still have a lot to learn!

Up to now, i often make the mistakes on the first stage. "first stage jitters" after that its easy as pie.

Like the last shoot at armscor, i dropped more than half of 80 points on the fist stage i shot. lots of d's 2 misses and a no shoot.

Lesson learned again, be conservative on the first stage, after that speed up.
