It looks like the man's a hero but in the heat of the media glare he should just give the bare facts that favor his possible legal defense and then remain quiet. I understand that the adrenaline must be running rampant in the aftermath of a life-or-death situation.

165 yard shot in the heat of the moment with a revolver?? I guess he wasn't kidding when he said "I'm fixin to get um".

I have to give some credit to the officer as well, he could have easily shot the good guy as well.

Damn good shot. I wonder if it was a rifle or handgun.

Well I guess we'll not hear anyone say not to shoot the BG's even though they are far away or running away! If they are armed you shoot them until they are dead or unarmed PERIOD!

    Good job by the Civie!

He said that he hit him FIVE times at 165 yards with a "Magnum."

What would you want to bet that he was using a .357 Magnum revlover?
