This was posted in the Viagra thread and got me thinking. As a man, are you embarrassed to talk to your doctor about certain things, especially if your doc is a woman ? The ladies here are probably LOL at the question as they've been poked/groped/prodded by male doctors since, well, since forever. Myself, it makes no difference. One night in the hospital two very attractive 20 something women came into my room and proceeded to give me a VERY thorough full body examination, while taking notes the entire time. The nurse that gave me a sponge bath also happened to be a woman. When I had a coronary angiogram and catheterization they went in through the wrist but also prepped the groin in case going in through the wrist didn't work. The prep involved another very cute 20 something putting her hand on my package so she could pull the skin taught for shaving. This was done while 5 or 6 other people, men and women, were setting up for the procedure. And don't even think about getting a colonoscopy if you're timid around women medicos. Once on the table I was told "Roll over on your side and pull your knees up toward your chest". Not a whole lot left to the imagination in that position. My primary doctor also happens to be a woman and I have no problem talking to her about anything medical. SHE'S THERE TO HELP ME ! She's a professional 40 something woman, and like Kentak said, by now she's seen/heard it all anyway.
