So, I busted out my old AR, an actual Colt AR-15 A2 Delta HBAR from the late 80's, I free floated the barrel about 20 yrs ago and really want to upgrade it nicely. WAY too many options out there and I've been out of the game in that regard for way too long. Can someone suggest a really nice (and complete) rail system to me? I guess I'd need the assembly, and tubes, collars, etc., hand grips and whatever else is needed to completely set it up as a ready to mount my Eotech, forend grip and Surefire onto, would like quad rails. It's a flat top model if that helps. Like to stay in the $250 total range if possible and I do have access to many mfgs wholesale prices via work like Magpul, etc. so that can help.

Bring on the expert opinions and pics if you got em!

Either create a new thread or have a mod move this to the AR section. I believe you would get better answers there.

As for me I have a cheap UTG quad rail for my Colt. It's cheap, a little heavy but has held up well in everything I have put it through. If I decide to switch it out, I'd like to get a Daniels Defense quad rail. But that will have to wait.
