I am looking for a good bungee style single point sling for my AR 15. One that will mount behind the rear hand grip where the collapsible stock goes in.
You might also see what kind of sling connectors your AR has. That will be a factor in whether you need adaptors for your sling system. Also, out of curiousity, why a one point sling? As a matter of person of preference I prefer a two point sling to hang horizontally. One points can rack you good and proper if you have them hanging in front of you and you have to take off running hands free. With a two point you have the option of 45 degree frontal carry, and slinging the weapon system behind you in you are in a cuffing situation.
We had some training today and I find it hard to sling the gun behind me. My current sling goes from the butt stock to the front sight, gets hung up on my belt. Many of the SWAT guys have the single point and swear by them.

Yes, the two point slide behind does take some time and practice. But, IMHO it is worth it. It used to get hung up on my belt too when I first started practicing with it. The key is to give it some slack and pull it outwards before slinging it behind you.
We've been using the Blackhawk Storm single point sling. $20. Seems decent enough to last. Don't know why we are a single point department. Guess last range master decided that when we got rifles. For simplicity, I built all my lowers set up for single point as well so that my training doesn't get mixed up.

This is what I have... it was given to me, and I'm still trying to figure it out! That front quick-release clip is a bit confusing for a sling noob like me.
The only thing I don't like so day is that the forward strap is in a spot where impacts the switch on my side-mounted light, and turns it on sometimes when it's slung up front. A minor issue that would probably be the case with any 2- or 3-point setup, with the way I have my light.
I bought a Tactical Tailor single point and after getting hit the in the junk a couple times and getting banged in the knees picked up a VTAC 5.11 2 point padded sling.

Agreed. I'm a fan of the Magpul slings for their adaptability. I like two point slings and generally find then more comfortable than one points. However, I always come back to one points for tactical use because they offer me the ability to shoot off of either shoulder easily and are more unobtrusive.
Have you tried an adjustable 2 point like vtac? Best sling I've ever used, used to have a single point and realized there's no way to secure it when going hands on or climbing. Also with an adjustable 2 pt you can really crank it down for a more stable shooting platform. Just my 2 cents
Sent from my iPhone... which probably auto-corrected something wrong
The only reason we use the bungee set up is because the car is shared by up to four officers so we need some stretch in the sling set up in case the lazy officer forgets to adjust the slings to themselves when they start their shift (99% of the time)
It makes it easier if they need to pull it longer to fit them.
