Amazing quarter results yesterday, 97 billion in cash now. This year should be iPad3, iPhone 5 (finally LTE) and Apple TV. I think they are in a better position now than google. Where does this ceiling, $600? I do wonder if a dividen or buy back is coming.

It's typically not wise to invest in a company when they are in their prime. Typically, they really don't have much else to do except go down. Now if you would have stuck your money in Apple when they were still all green and black monitors and stuff, you'd be doing pretty good right about now.

Wonder if the iPad tapping hippies will start crying "OBSCENE PROFITS!!" over this news?

Apple is now worth more than Greece.

Because Apple is better managed than Greece.

Greece is simply proof government isn't always the best answer

Apple is proof of what a company can turn into when a true leader (granted by most accounts a ranging egomaniac) comes about and people actually listen to him and allow him to do what needs to be done.

This is a very interesting interview that mentions Apple stock. By a value guy nonetheless.

I hold no positions and don't plan to initiate soon, or if at all. But it's interesting to learn other people's point of view.

One thing, no matter how much I study, I cannot get a consensus on how much longer AAPL can keep operating with these insane margins in an otherwise tight margin business?

I know Q3 2011 Samsung shipped 27.8M units versus Apple's 17.1M. The brand loyalty AAPL has is amazing.
