At Texas Tech we have an appetizer cookoff every year. There really are no rules for the cookoff. It says appetizers but we have seen everything from fried turkeys to hamburgers so I guess everything is fair game really. The only thing is that we have to feed A LOT of people. We won the cookoff one year with bacon and jalepeno wrapped dove breasts. I wanted to make these again this year but unfortunately we didnt have a very sucessfull dove season. Does anybody have any suggestions? Prefferably something that can be prepared beforehand and then cooked on a grill.
